The Cure It On The Court Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity organization, was officially established in July 2010, although founder Zachary Bulwa and executive board members, Jason Krawetz and Shane Massel, have been raising money for pediatric cancer research since the summer of 2008. To date The Cure It On The Court Foundation has raised over $40,000 through community sponsored sporting events.
The University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital has received the majority of our generous donations over the last seven years because of its highly regarded excellence. The Comer Children’s Hospital has been at the forefront of kids’ medicine for decades – treating children from the Chicago area, throughout the Midwest, and around the world that have the most complex medical problems.
During the summer of 2008, Zachary was privileged to work at The University of Chicago where he was able to shadow the world-renowned pediatric oncologist Dr. James Nachman, who later became his mentor. In appreciation for his experience and the desire to contribute, Zachary looked to Shane Massel and Jason Krawetz to fund Dr. Nachman and increase awareness for his clinical research. Read more
