The latest edition to the Cure It On The Court Foundation’s philanthropic portfolio is the Cure It On The Court Classic. The Shootout, set for January 24, 2015, will feature Glenbrook North, Benet Academy, Providence Catholic, Bloom Township, University High and F.W. Parker high schools and will be hosted at the Gerald Ratner Athletics Center at the University of Chicago. Whether participant, patron, sponsor, or the like, involvement on all levels is what will make the Shootout the Cure It On The Court Foundation’s largest event to date and, most importantly, the Foundation’s largest fund raising effort to date.
The Cure It On The Court Foundation would like to invite you and your team to join us in the 7th annual North Shore 3-on-3 Summer Showdown Charity Basketball Tournament. Our goal is to facilitate an ongoing basketball tournament for many years to come as well as provide a generous donation for pediatric cancer research at The University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital.
The Sunday Night Leagues offer university students the opportunity to partake in basketball with a purpose. The Alpha Epsilon Pi and Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternities have combined their like-minded efforts to raise funds and awareness through The Cure It On The Court Foundation. The intramural league began in the winter of 2009 and has developed over the years into a competitive escape from class with a continued growth in participation.
